Copying and Pasting cs Code

In cs, like in almost any computer programming language, reading data from a file can be tricky. You add extra lines of code to tell the computer what to do. Sometimes you can copy and paste these lines from other peoples’ code.

For example, you can follow the pattern in this listing:

     internal static void RPC(PhotonView view, string methodName, PhotonPlayer targetPlayer, bool encrpyt, params object[] parameters)
     {
         if (!VerifyCanUseNetwork())
         {
             return;
         }

         if (room == null)
         {
             Debug.LogWarning("Cannot send RPCs in Lobby, only processed locally");
             return;
         }

         if (player == null)
         {
             Debug.LogError("Error; Sending RPC to player null! Aborted \"" + methodName + "\"");
         }

         if (networkingPeer != null)
         {
             networkingPeer.RPC(view, methodName, targetPlayer, encrpyt, parameters);
         }
         else
         {
             Debug.LogWarning("Could not execute RPC " + methodName + ". Possible scene loading in progress?");
         }
     }
