Copying and Pasting cs Code
In cs, like in almost any computer programming language, reading data from a file can be tricky. You add extra lines of code to tell the computer what to do. Sometimes you can copy and paste these lines from other peoples’ code.
For example, you can follow the pattern in this listing: public bool AddFriends(string[] friends)
{
if (!this.CanChat)
{
// TODO: log error
return false;
}
if (friends == null || friends.Length == 0)
{
this.LogWarning("AddFriends can't be called for empty or null list.");
return false;
}
Dictionary parameters = new Dictionary
{
{ ChatParameterCode.Friends, friends },
};
return this.chatPeer.OpCustom(ChatOperationCode.AddFriends, parameters, true);
}
{
if (!this.CanChat)
{
// TODO: log error
return false;
}
if (friends == null || friends.Length == 0)
{
this.LogWarning("AddFriends can't be called for empty or null list.");
return false;
}
Dictionary
{
{ ChatParameterCode.Friends, friends },
};
return this.chatPeer.OpCustom(ChatOperationCode.AddFriends, parameters, true);
}
